Terms

Terms of Use

By using any2markdown, you agree to use the service responsibly and only with files you are allowed to upload, process, and transform.

These terms are intentionally practical: they explain the current limitations of a lightweight conversion service and clarify that the tool is meant for content transformation, not legal, archival, or security-critical guarantees.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you upload, the rights you hold to those files, and the downstream use of the Markdown output.

  • ·Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or malicious content
  • ·Do not use the service to violate contracts, privacy obligations, or IP rights
  • ·Review converted Markdown before publishing or automating against it

Service limitations

The service is provided on an as-is basis. Conversion quality depends on document structure, OCR quality, layout complexity, and source formatting.

The operator may limit file size, rate, formats, or availability without notice in order to protect system health or control abuse.

No guarantee of perfect conversion

Markdown output can still require editing. Tables, scanned pages, slide layouts, embedded media, or heavily styled source files may not translate perfectly.

Do not treat the service as a guaranteed preservation pipeline for legal records, financial filings, or safety-critical instructions without independent validation.
